I think my issue with these is the color choices. Maybe in a natural wood or something like that, they would look better but, these colors just make them look cheap.
And just because something is inexpensive, which these may or may not be, doesn't mean it should ever look cheap.

It looks like a really bad rip-off of this design:
The first thing I thought was bad ersatz Eames. They don't look comfortable at all. Thank you Vanessa. The Uhuru chair is very attractive and actually looks comfortable.
love it- want it for my front porch... and i cast my vote and it was 83 to 83. Totally split!!!

Like the idea of a chair that is distilled to basic elements...this is almost there, but not quite. Something still just a little too clunky and awkward about it.
