I'm not into it. I feel like it might project odd cast shadows onto the walls; people legs and feet walking around. I don't think it would create a relaxing atmosphere for a bedroom.

It's a nice looking object though.

I think its attractive I like it as an idea. But I think the novelty would wear off soon, and it would highlight the dust on the floor too much.

I think it's kind of creepy, it reminds me of an alien spacecraft. It would be cool as a guest bed so you don't have to sleep in it every night.

Well, at least the lack of odd shadows would reassure you that there were no monsters under the bed!

It looks like the scene in poltergeist when the clown comes out from under the bed. scary!

It looks like it's ready to take off! Cool looking but not really functional.

as someone who's always been convinced that there really is something under the bed I could live with this ~ also wouldn't have to worry about stepping on the dog when I get up at night!

I would not just stub my toes on that--I would BREAK my toes.

The light is too harsh and too bright as well. I think it would be nice with a much softer light or perhaps a colored light - blue, maybe?

i love it. it says, 'i'm so cool, i sleep on a pillow of light.'

Very cool! Not sure I would want to live with it, but I would definitely consider it. You can be pretty certain that none of your friends will have the same thing, and I'm with pegling, this would save me checking under the bed for intruders before I go to sleep every night :-)

It's very pretty but not particularly practical. Or maybe I like storing things under my bed too much. And the cat would definitely hate it. Not hot.

I saw a picture years ago of a similar concept using Corning glass blocks. Told a friend about it and she loved the idea and actually did it. She used a dim light and it was like having a nightlight on. She had it rigged so the switch for the light was near the nightstand so she could turn it off when she got into bed. It really did look nice.

I think this is a sexy concept but probably wouldn't be practical for someone who lives in tiny quarters.
