Interesting - Now all it needs is an attached LED reading lamp on a long gooseneck and it would be complete.

ok just because I am bored since I have been in bed for three days now with cold..I am not thrilled with the flimsy base and top. A three prong base is not very secure especially if you have uneven floors. Magazines are never the same thickness and size so it might look unbalanced. You would really need to pay attention when you sat a glass or cup down.
I personally do not sit at a table to read magazines.

When you combine two good things you very often get one bad thing. This is that thing. Unstable, cluttered, and not very graceful to look at.

Agree about the weak looking base... but I think if I saw it in a waiting room I'd think it was cute.

why is there a pie slice missing??
agreed- fine for a dentist office, weird for a home. i like furnishings that are simple enough to be versatile/rearranged/repurposed for many years in various spaces. this piece is too on the nose.

Actually Lori, a 3-legged base is inherently the most stable, especially on uneven floors. Try a 4-legged anything on an uneven floor and watch it wobble...

Very weird.
I'd probably bang my knees up on the magazine prongs since the table itself obstructs the view.
Any food crumbs or spilled beverage will go right onto your reading material.
Sometimes it's ok to have two separate unitaskers. A table next to a separate magazine rack would be so much better.

bepsf- I disagree in this situation because the weight of the magazine holder hangs over the two prong looks like it might tilt. Also most four prong table bases have levelers/glides and in my experience more stable than a three prong.
LOL- i guess it won't matter for either one of us but maybe the manufacturer is reading this to look at the critiques
