I absolutely loathe everything about this, but not because it's "a bit too artsy for my taste."

to me it just looks like a pile of clothes to be put away. Not creepy, but not good either.

If you click on the link, you'll see the matching sofa. You could have a whole row of limbless, headless men in your living room!

Um, no. Just no.

I couldn't vote because there wasn't a choice that reflected the strength of my dislike for this.

Also, it's been done.

i agree with fabframes... it's not too artsy, it's too hideous. who wants an amputated mechanic's jumpsuit on their furniture?

i definitely wanted to say something more negative than "too artsy" ...........

It reminds me of Dali or Magritte! I love it! I mean why not? It's not for everyone, but it is an infusion of cleverness in the staid rather puritanical world of furniture design.

I'm amused, but I wouldn't take it home. I'd feel weird sitting in his lap.

When did AT change from being about making an attractive and comfortable home, to being about grotesque, pretentious pseudo-art?

I'd be unable to shake the sense that I'm sitting on the lap of a most unattractive man. Ew.

Ditto JoanneM

Can we please get back to the mission of AT?

I'd rather stop by the VA and take a paraplegic vet home for dinner. At least he'd come with a head and conversation. sheesh.

Reminds me of the Jennifer Lynch film, Boxing Helena and I'd rather not be reminded.

"A Bit Too Artsy For My Taste In Decor" is a nice way of putting it. I would've said bloody god-awful. U-G-L-Y!
