I'm a sucker for animal lamp bases.

It makes me think trout or bass more than koi fish.. and therefore makes me think of those fish stuck to plaques. Ick

I love the curve. Any animal as long as it's not a cat...

If it were any color other than white I'd probably think it was gaudy, but as it is, I like it. A bit of understated whimsy.

I was shopping at Homegoods yesterday and I ran across alot of West Elm tables. The tables were damage free and discounted. My curiosity lead me to check the West Elm site and the tables were featured at regular price. :0

Hot=48. Not=48. So the general public is as undecided.

For some reason I really, really like this lamp.

I like the lamp but it totally needs a different shade.

That shade in orange, a sly reverse of typical Koi/lampshade colors.

I think the only reason I like this is because it's in solid white. If it were in any other color, I would think this was something that should have been on my crazy Aunt Sylvia's yard sale. The koi fish in white is just cooky enough.
