I'm usually not a fan of white on white . . .but the beautiful way this space is pulled together is really making me lean towards liking it!

Gorgeous!

Ps . . . where did the "LOVE" sculpture come from?

Very impressive. I could never commit to a single color scheme like that, but it looks great. I like the use of texture and subtle introduction of other neutrals.

All that white stresses me out...I can barely even wear white clothes, yikes!

It doesn't feel inviting to me. Not even with a few bits of color. White space seems like something unfinished. I like the little airplanes though.

I'm a big fan of white and off-white or cream together. Nicely done. :)

I agree with aj and I typically like white. Its too Ikea in the too much laminate with cutesy.

Limeliteshines,
She made the LOVE sculpture herself.

Cheers,
Abby

I think it's BEAUTIFUL. I would worry about making a mess, though.

White is not my style at all, but there are a few things in her home that i think are terrific:

I've been lusting after that green and white office nook since it was posted on Unclutterer.

The LOVE sculpture

The wallpaper sample collage.

Nicely done but much too much white for my taste, I'd be itching to add bold colors such as red, orange or yellow to that white for more of a mod take on the space. :-)

Not bad for what it is although the scale of some of the items is off.

although i love white space, this pad is way too unpersonal to me. it looks like an ad for a furniture store and not like a real home.

I love all white. Only thing I'd add is a bouquet of 2 dozen red roses.

Clean - yes. White - yes. But inviting? Not to these eyes.

nothing makes me cringe more than all white interiors! This is so 1995, who does this still? And there in nothing "well designed" about an all white apartment "a la Ikea" If this is a college student's dorm room I would expect this level of "talent" but come on... there is nothing in there that is worth anything. AND I don't mean something has to cost a fortune to be worth something, I just mean there is no umph! in there and if the place would to go up in flames one day, who cares there is NO personality or anything special that jumps out at me. If you lived there, what would you rescue first from the fire???

I've read some negative comments on AT and if I don't like something I often say so myself, but kjanssons comment must be amonst the worst ones I've seen so far.

There is saying you don't like something and then there is just hurtfull and mean. kjansson falls into the later category.

I personally really like the place.

At first I loved it.

Then I read kjansson's comment and realized that white is now out of style (and has been since the mid-90s!)

I often like white-on-white rooms because they make it easier for me to see texture. Consequently, I'm sad to find that white is now out of style. I guess black is probably next to be blacklisted. And eventually, we'll be left with only puce and fuchsia in our Crayola boxes.

What a sad day that will be.

WOW. Some REALLY SNOOTY comments above. Especially the one from KJANSSON. I personally love the look and think she has pulled it off with some lovely whimsical details. I find it very sad that people will take the time out of their day to write a paragraph about not liking something. WHO CARES what the interior design industry tells you is "in" or "out". And how impressionable are the readers of AP??!! "I just found out white is out of style so I don't like it anymore"??!! Are ya'll 12 years old? Like what you like. Dislike things that don't suit your taste. But don't waste your own time and everyone else's by leaving a comment that says more about YOU than your opinion of someone else's style. Grow up.
