Matin House Peek
Los Angeles

110108_matin.jpgWe've been crushing on the amazing porcelain pieces that Matin Gallery in Culver City shows. From Edmund de Waal to John Pawson the look is minimal, elegant and beautiful. So we were really excited to catch a glimpse into the curators' own home in the Hollywood Hills:

110108_matin2.jpgYesterday Remodelista showcased a quick peek into the gallery owners' mid century home. Spare and elegant like the works they show, the house is also a subtle showcase for their favorite artists like chairs by Donald Judd, bowls from Taizo Kuroda. See all the pictures on Remodelista.

That swatch canvas is a nice idea for renters who want to incorporate color but are unable to paint their walls.
