We introduced you to our lovely neighbor Nancy a couple months back when we wrote about her site Perfect Wall Color. At that time she also graciously let us in to take some photographs of her own home and we were delighted to find a treasure of color [We didn't yet know what Nancy did for a living]. Color, Color everywhere!
What first had drawn us to her and her family's home was that in a sea of Craftsman's in our neighborhood she has one of a handful of modern homes in the area.
The colors she chose for their home are very influenced on her family's large collection of Latin and African art including her daughter's own amazing paintings [she is still little! 5-ish]
She also allowed us to use her beautifly lit photographs from her website rather than our own borderline-dingy digitals we attempted to snap. Thanks Nancy!
On a side note...we waited to postpone her photos until commenters started to calm down a bit more.. for a while there were some serious claws out. Please realize that Nancy, as well as our other home tour's, have welcomed us into their homes and don't have to share their lives with us.
Eclectic, artsy, colourful, and homey = a space full of character, and much love and life..
And I adore your ottoman!
Thank you for that experience, Nancy and AT... house tours are truly a gift.
WOW!!!!! a truly amazing house. can i come over and hang out in your backyard? i'm not sure i would ever want to leave...
Great house-inside and out!
I really love that ottoman! The wedges are so cool! (And I also really love the typewriter.)
Thanks so much for sharing!
Now that's a home!
Beautiful. Your art collection is amazing!
I can't imagine why anyone's claws would be out for this house. It is elegant, individual and fun. I love it.
Me either. It looks great. Fun colors and art. Superb patio, too.
The ottoman reminds me of the Simon game, which I LOVE!
Lovely, fun, imaginative and bursting with personality. Thanks for sharing with us Nancy.
