Another use for Spega

San Francisco recently extolled the virtues of the Spega yogurt glass container and we wanted to throw another idea into the mix. We love to plant narcissus bulbs this time of year so that they're blooming by the new year. We also like to give them as gifts since the scent is so lovely and delicate.

Well, we've been saving our Spega containers and we stocked up on the florera stones from Ikea (which are really just pretty colored aquarium rocks). We're planning to put a single narcissus bulb in each container, fill it with pretty rocks, tie a ribbon around it a call it a day.

Do you have to water them?? Or can you just put them in the bathroom and let the steam do the rest?

yes, you have to give them a little bit of water depending on how dry the air is in your house. But the roots need to be damp.
