How to Fold a Cardholder from a Paint Chip

100207_cardholder.jpg

I stumbled on this tutorial very randomly...you see, I was GOING to write about something really rich and meaty like color psychology (did you know that blue is considered unappetizing? Not to me!), and then I randomly found a link to this tutorial...

...and thought, "Heh. Could be cool..." Twenty minutes later, I was all up in it. Aaron Tang of DesignVerb, you officially rock my world.

i've heard that too, that blue is unappetizing. there was a study done that found that people who ate off blue plates ate less. when you think about it, there are no blue foods (okay, apart from blue corn chips and those blue ices my niece and nephew insist are the best food ever) so maybe it's somehow connected to the primitive mind recognizing that blue food = food that has gone bad.

If the food is good I pay no attention to the plate or the color. How silly.

blueberries are people though aren't they?
blue = moldy or old or something.
these paint chip cardholders are my new favorite bored-at-work passtime.

I read that *green* is unappetizing...which makes sense because generally unripe fruits are green, while ripe ones are red/yellow/etc.

In "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," people were blueberries--and the blueberry was Violet (if memory serves). *wink*
