Recently, we blogged displaying family photos. Although a modified version of that look may work for some, we're looking for something a little less formal. Photojojo’s suggestion for a DIY project for Mother’s Day, a photo cube, finds a fan in us, Mother's Day or not. Fun, simple and elegant, we love its interactive qualities. My father always had one of these on his desk wherever he worked. I don't think he ever changed the pictures since the 70s, so I'm kind of surprised at the suggestion to DIY. I guess they don't make them anymore so it'd be the only way to get one?, but now you're calling my father "fashionable." Get Out!

Ah, I was thinking of the $3.00 acrylic kind. This project seems sort of scrap-booky to me.

Now, if you could make something that you could sort of twist around into shapes and show different photos, that would be VERY cool.
