How To's For The Garden:
An Apron, Little Planters And An Outdoor Tray

052908_martha.jpgMartha Stewart's Craft of the Day has recently showcased some great ways to freshen up the outdoors with simple DIY projects:

• Try freshening up a broken down thrift store tray with some caning and glass (and a touch of spray paint of course) and then get ready to serve up some lemonade and relax.

• Our favorite: Using Sake boxes as mini planters. Head over to Sawtelle or Little Tokyo for some cheap versions and get to planting.

• Plan on doing some gardening this summer? Make your own apron out of whatever fabric you fancy (they suggest linen) and keep all your tools close at hand.
