Pottery Barn's Red Chalkboard

We love how bright and happy this office is with its bright whites, yellows and what's that? Yes, a red chalkboard for notes! Did you know you can make your own?

Yes, we've considered painting everything in the office white, but more than that, we love that the chalkboard is so vibrant and a little offbeat and, again, a nice little pop of color. Oh and it's on sale.

But we searched around our archives and found that we've posted How To...make your own chalkboard paint before and it couldn't be easier so you could ostensibly mix any color you want for a chalkboard, and paint it directly on the wall if you want.

Chalkboard cool. Image typical Pottery Barn craziness -- weird, cluttered mix of incongruous styles and formats and colors. Their styling and products are so damn odd.
