Using a base of paving paint, a contrasting acrylic paint (Liquitex; medium viscosity) for the pattern, the JA45 Mokko stencil, and concrete sealer, designer Caroline Quaine of Norman + Quaine dressed up a concrete floor with striking results. Check out Stencil Gallery's large selection of patterns here (or the equally encyclopedic, The Stencil Library), and you can repeat yourself to your heart's content.

I really dig this stencil idea.
Anyone have suggestions of what type of paint to use on an outdoor deck? There is some generic greenish tread laid out and I need to change the color. I'm in a condo and own so the sky's the limit...as far as experimenting goes.
Can this be done on wood floors?
