We love the loose sprigs of little white flowers, perfect for adding a little Spring to your home. Has anyone done this in their home?

I came across this same image posted on Danny Seo's blog after following links from another AT post (the one on the patchwork Oriental rug idea) - it's such a lovely idea that I tagged it on my del.icio.us.
I've always had a thing for glass (especially blue glass) bottles, but now I will be scouring the local flea markets to accomplish a look inspired directly by this photo.

huh. kind of pretty in the picture, but too cluttered, I think, especially in real life.

Are you kidding??? This is a soon to be major dust collector. Keeping that centerpiece looking good would be a major time commitment on a regular basis.
No Thanks.

how large is that display, 2 sq. ft.?
those of us who agonize over how to utilize every square foot of our small homes will not easily go for this 'wasteful' but pretty look.

I second Daily Nuance. This will soon look as stale as an old bowl of pot pourri on account of the dust.
Maybe as a one-time centerpiece, but then, who wants to store all those for one or two dinner parties?

I love the colors, I love the depth, the textures, the flowers, the greenery...but I third Daily Nuance. The dusting would kill me.

What a pretty way to display my collection of antique (pre-FDA) cobalt pharmaceutical bottles! Yippee!
BTW:
Keeping my bottles dust-free is really no big deal. I regularly rinse them in a big bowl of vinegar and water and let them air dry. It only takes a few minutes and works great.
