A "Resurrected" Tacky Chair

atla07_wackytackysupper.jpg

We like Michael's commitment to the concept of "tacky". Pulled out of the trash, this chair was resurrected to see a new life with a vibrant coat of blue paint, reupholstered with biblically themed fabric for the cushion, and a gold fringe that pushes the chair ffrom square to risky design dare. If you're going to go tacky, why not go all the way?

That rug, oh my god - does anyone happen to recognize it?

I believe it is a rug formerly available from Anthropologie a few seasons back.

Tacky isn't the word.
Disrespectful is.
Anybody that sits down on that chair will be placing their derriere on Jesus' face.

I love the blue and I can deal with the fabric, but the fringe is just a bit too much for my taste.

I think Jesus would approve. I'm sure he had a sense of humour...
