A nightstand can be anything that corrals objects within easy reach on the side of the bed. This nightstand, by designer Marian Lassak, reminded us of one of the ways we repurposed objects to create a nightstand before we purchased the one we now use (we have the eileen gray tables and we love them; check here for a list of ten others we love); we know that other AT'ers have had the same idea (and more! see idea 10). We thought we'd bring together a list of "think outside the table" ideas here:

A long time ago, i started collecting vintage suitcases, and then i started using a stack of them as a bedside table about 5 years ago and never looked back. They're the perfect storage solution for out-of-season clothes, extra linens, etc., especially in my 435 sq.ft. apartment.
