How about this for “wow” factor? Décor Next Door contributor and Los Angeles resident, “ashface2”, posted this photo of their DIY bedroom project. By spray painting vintage plates using handmade cardstock stencils of birds and strategically mounting them with tree branches scavenged from a nearby park, they’ve created a nesting spot of unique beauty. And if you particularly like the plates themselves, the contributor links to their email for customized versions for purchase.
I like the tree and birds idea, but the plates are killing me. Plain old bird cut-outs would have been better I think.
ooh, i was actually thinking "wow" about the photo before i saw the first sentence of the paragraph...
the fabric down in the right corner looks like it's from urban outfitters (50's birdcage panel). i just bought a panel to hang in my kitchen.
