Even in Los Angeles it feels like Fall weather is here to stay (which we're totally excited about). In our transition for cooler weather, our interior often reflects the season happening outside. Annalea is well on her way to making her home fit in with Fall using reds, yellows and greens...
A buttery yellow wall oozes warmth (and can be made to go with any season). Here, Annalea uses reds and greens to play up the color pattern from Fall leaves. Floral green and red curtains pair perfectly with each rooms yellow walls (and we love that they make each space feel taller and spacious). DIY wall art in the dining room consists of tree branches and sewn birds--each with their own unique fabric. Our favorite room just might be the nursery (which is given away only by the alphabet letters and animal cards). We think the space would translate into any work or studio space with only a few minor changes.

Not feeling the Fall yet with this humidity.
This is such a cute mix of fabrics and I love to see the use of a different fabric on the back of a chair like the one in the dining area.
Were these curtains made or bought, love the green ones!

I love this daybed so much. I'd been trying to find a (cheap) daybed frame that looked a little more 'modern' and a little less 'granny'. I don't know why PAINT didn't occur to me before.
Also adore the fabric birds on the branches. So simple so cheap so elegant. This is exactly why I love Apartment Therapy.

could someone explain how to make that tree branch and bird sculpture? I LOVE IT! How is it attached to the wall? I am so making one of these this weekend!
