Earlier this summer we posted AimmeeRoo's progress on revamping her patio furniture, well she's finished and we're happy to say that we're totally jealous. Amazing what some paint and fabric (and hard work) can do! Check out the before after the jump:
Yeah, that's how it all started when she inherited an old set from her grandmother. But over the past couple of months, a couple of coats of spray paint and now some cool fabric (Aimee--do tell what that fabric is!) the set couldn't look more modern and fun. Check out the original post here with the intermediary steps! Also Aimee, how did you recover the chairs--staple gun method or something fancier?
Thanks for sharing with us! Has anyone else accomplished a similar makeover? Wanna share? You can email us or upload pictures to the ATLA Flickr Pool.
um...I don't mean to be a debbie downer but those chairs are completely different than the originals.

At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but those are definitely two different sets of chairs!

But they are very nice *different* chairs.

Hmm, yeah, those are two different sets. I think Aimee was re-doing a patio set and a bistro set.

Yes, I am redoing both the bistro set and a patio set. You can read more about it on my blog. I am using the same fabric for both sets though. :)
I used a simple staple gun to recover the seats with, and it's an outdoor fabric from Laurie Smith called "Freer" (the collection was for Hanncock Fabrics). I found it on discount too, for a steal of $9 a yard!
Thanks for the post!

In any case, chairs look great!

I like the fabric. It looks like a bunch of stacked up mustaches.
