A floor length mirror is great tool for making small spaces seem bigger (not to mention they're a lifesaver when you're getting ready in the morning and someone is already in the bathroom). We rounded up a few ways to incorporate a full length mirror into your home's decor--and let us know where yours lives, after the jump.
We've always kept our full length mirror in the bedroom (usually on the back of the closet door). This has been super helpful when space is limited by utilizing vertical space that would otherwise go unused. If you have a little extra space, floor length mirrors look great leaning against a wall amongst a small grouping of objects. Rebecca sets a potted plant next to hers to balance its position in the corner--helping make the spot cozy. Sherry and John lean their floor length mirror in the bedroom (again with a little greenery for a pop of color and balance). We like how they incorporate a small vignette with an accent table dotted with accessories. You can also let your mirror stand alone to make a dramatic statement and think the end of a hallway or entryway would work best.

We have a floor length mirror in our bedroom, against the wall that is visible from the hallway and bedroom door. At first it was strange seeing myself walk past from the other room but now I don't notice it. It really does help open up the space.
We recently had to move a lot of stuff out of the living room and it got piled up in front of the mirror. I really miss having it... didn't know how much I was using it to get ready in the mornings until it was gone!

You forgot to mention the best thing about them. Id they're leaning against the wall, they make you look taller and thinner. Who needs Jenny Craig!... ~:o)

Oh.... My favorite was at our old house. It was standing outside against the neighbor's fence. The path and stepping stones leading to it gave it the illusion of a doorway.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd photo is a mirror from Ikea. We have one of them in our bedroom hung between a bathroom door and closet door. It's a really good deal at $99.

My bed is in my closet, so I put a mirror inside to make it feel more 'snug', less cramped.. but I made sure to put it on the side that I dont sleep on so it wouldnt be creepy!

I love large mirrors, but I'm concerned about having one in my home. A friend had a large one which reflected the light onto a throw on her couch, causing a house fire. Be careful where you place them!
