Inspiration: Eva's Office Spaces

Lately, we've been working on rearranging office spaces for a few clients so we've been on the lookout for inspiration. So when we spotted Eva's unique (and adjustable) work zones we knew we had more pics to add to our favorite spaces file. More pics after the jump!

040609desk-05.jpgAn office space built entirely on Elfa shelving in which the wall behind is dry erase. Bright, bold colors and crisp white shelving make this work station an eye opener. The thing we love about Elfa shelving is the fact that it's adjustable. Need more space--just add another shelf.

040609desk-04.jpgEva takes the same product, Efla shelving, and makes a cozy office nook at home. Again, custom shelving with a homey spin and you have a completely different office.

040609desk-03.jpgWe also zeroed in on this office space on Eva's Flickr photostream. Her friend Craig takes a closet, removes the doors and makes a private office space of his own. Adding curtains so the area can be hidden away, the panels also add warmth to the work nook. We love how Craig's office is more of an extension of the room--achieved by adding an antique desk and decorative accents.

I love the calendar in the first shot. I keep dreaming of getting a really nice one every year, and always end up with the cheap 3 dollar office depot one.

Wow, I've only been coming to this site for a short time, but I see that "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster everywhere! Is it from Pottery Barn or something?

I'm definitely tired of the Keep Calm and Carry On poster for the home, but I really, really, really want one for my office at work. In times like these, the message is super relevant.

Yes the Keep Calm poster is very relevant in the work space. Take a look at my post and how I used it in my office space. You'll have to scroll a bit http://myexitrow.blogspot.com/

Also, you can purchase the poster here

Craig's place is gorgeous - I'd love to see more of it!

And please, please enough with the "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster. We got the point. Let us see something new, please.

Ever since the "Keep Calm" poster started sparking controversy on AT (seriously, it's like waving a red flag in front of the AT bulls), I've thought it was perfect for work. Nice to see the artwork applied there.

Maybe there should be a post only about "Keep Calm and Carry On." Let the debate rage and settle this thing once and for all.

Funny, I bought a "Keep Calm" framed poster in the same salmon color about a year ago at Prize in Ashland, OR. I had never seen it before but now they are EVERYWHERE. Not that I mind, I also keep mine in my work office :-)

The "Keep Calm" poster is the Nagel print of its generation.

Well, if AT doesn't want to take on the "Keep Calm" debate, feel free to do so on my site. I think it's become a small phenomenon and I seriously would LOVE to see where people keep this poster! As we can see, the work space is a popular locale. I've also seen it in bathrooms and bedrooms. Check out my site, you'll have to scroll down a bit.

Happy Monday Apt. Therapists!

Maybe she borrowed the Keep Calm poster for the photo shoot so she wouldn't suffer the embarrassment of zero comments. At least you know you're going to get 10 people piling in to give you a pasting for it.

I love the cluttered bureau and the fisheye mirror. They work fantastically well together.
