Inspiration: Johanna's Pink, Black and Gold Entryway
Plus Another Small Office Space

031609pink-05.jpgWe love the classic combo of pink and black and the pop of gold that Johanna adds really pulls the look together. More inspirational views plus her small office space after the jump!

The pink walls make the black shade around the chandelier and the striped black and white rug pop.

031609pink-02.jpgWe also like the simplicity of the black coat and shoe rack in the entryway. An added bonus is the traditional black umbrella and top hat.

031609pink-01.jpgWe had to add Johanna's office space in the adjoining room. She pairs a compact faux bois desk and chair among a mini-library. It's an inspiration to those of us that need an office space (but have little room to work with).

The door hardware is too stark. Need something more decorative.

I agree. Also, maybe the doors should be painted black?

Love the light fixture! Do you have a source?

i have mixed feelings on this. I almost love it for its old movie like feel, however i also think the gold looks sort of gaudy in a modern room. I can't make up my mind.

"She pairs a compact faux bois desk..."

Um, that desk isn't Faux Bois - it's walnut veneer:

"Love the light fixture! Do you have a source?"

This is similar - and better looking:

Just Google "String Shade Chandelier"

Love the nod to Dorothy Draper. I agree with parttimedesign. Go for broke and spray paint your door hardware gold.

Yuck, those are not good rooms, that shiny gold mirror & shelf with the pressed wood doors, ick. Rub some brown paint on that gold to turn the shine down.

I've been eyeballing various renditions of that chandelier for a while now. It looks great with her color scheme, doesn't it? Hmm. This is the sound of me thinking.

i'd dare say - but i could be naive - that the keyboard and tower are non-existent as she probably uses a laptop. maybe even with wifi.

cool space. love the colors. would like the door handle to be gold or black if that's possible. is this a rental?

as others have mentioned, beautiful light fixture.

thanks bepsf for the sources, wild things has some lighting i'm seriously considering now.
