Inspiration: Oversized White Lacquer Coffee Tables

We love the look of a large white lacquer coffee table. While the one in this photo from Living, etc. is certainly pricey, Jonathan’s post yesterday, about using two end tables as a coffee table, reminded us of a friend’s living room. She uses two Lack TV Units pushed together to recreate a similar look.

Placed amongst her other well-chosen furnishings, no one’s ever suspected that the giant white lacquer coffee table, piled with a beautiful mirrored tray, stylish design tomes and pale blue glass dishes, is anything other than a top-of-the-line purchase. It’s all in the mix. Consider it as an option the next time you think you've priced yourself out of a similar look.
