Now that the weekend is coming up, I've got a list of places to go see in London to blog about for next week, thanks to my welcoming co-workers. One place I can't wait to check out is the ever-posh Shoreditch House in East London close to the Liverpool Street Station. Just perusing the photos of this members-only club is inspiration enough: The roof bar is done up in stylish black-and-white scheme with an impressive grey fireplace in the center...
If you're needing a bit of inspiration for your porch or outdoor space, this color scheme echoes old school Hollywood glamour without overpowering any greenery...and it seems fairly easy to replicate. You can paint generic terra cotta planters in black and white and Ikea offers a wide selection of throw pillow covers in black and white graphic patterns.

Be sure to check out the area in the back on the fifth floor....done up like a hunter's lodge! I almost missed it and it was my favorite part of the place (partially because it was the quietest part of the place). Also be warned it's a bit difficult to find...down a street, down an alley, that kind of thing. Bring a detailed map!
