Inspiration: Vintage Postcard Backsplash

Here's a keen idea for a kitchen or bathroom backsplash using vintage postcard images from the book, Creating Vintage Style.

Actually you could use or create any image for the backsplash using a custom tile fabricating service or just mounting them and protecting them with a sheet of plexiglass for a less pricey solution.

I love these. When I was a child, I collected pretty cowgirls posing with their horses and cut out pictures of my head to paste over theirs. I covered the wall.

hmmm. i've thrown out all my old CD cases but saved the back inserts, waiting for a good project for them. this might be an interesting idea.
