Inspiration: Vivi's Playful Office Space

043009orange-01.jpgIt's no secret that we love inspirational office spaces and even better when they're putting our favorite colors to work--gray and orange. Follow us after the jump where we'll break down our favorite elements of Vivi's office space.

043009orange-02.jpgWe don't know what it is about the gray and orange color combo combined with pops of white and hardwood floors--but we love it. We've seen this color combo styled preppy before but we love Vivi's playful version. A white pendant lamp with a curvy design mixed with whimsical hanging art makes for a space that doesn't take itself too seriously. Throw in a clear Eames chair and we have quite a lighthearted office. Notice that Vivi keeps her office supplies to a minimum which allows the space and the creativity to flow.

Loving the Camilla Engman piece. It looks like all of the pages from one of her calendars matted together? Brilliant. I just might have to steal that idea...

If you really want a desk similar to the one shown - all you have to do is take this photo to your local countertop fabricator and have them make one for you in the exact size you want, either in laminate or Corian.

I don't have storage for the desk I have now and it's fine, I have a side table next to it with 2 drawers!

I Also fell in love with that desk and since nobody knew where that it was from, I did some research of my own and actually found that exact one.

it's from the white club series by Kare Design.

Here is link to the website with some info on the desks:

It's a German company and fortunately I live in Germany, so I shouldn't have too much trouble finding one of these.
But for everyone else, good luck, you night be able get them in the States. Looks like they ship them pretty much everywhere.
In case you're interested they go for about 500-600 € over here for the largest one, so probably a little more for you guys, since the exchange rate will add some $.
