We saw this outdoor seating at Bloom Cafe a while ago and have been meaning to go back ever since. We love the inset planters painted Yves Klein Blue and set up like dioramas and the fun orange tables. The white shade above gives the whole (small) space a nice open feeling.
Some of the fun of creating a small outdoor space is that you can have more fun with concentrated color since it's less likely to get overwhelming. The huge swaths of white and bright light make the blue and orange look fresh and modern.
For your own version, try these Urban chairs from Ikea in red-orange.
You can check out their outdoor setup for yourself, Bloom Cafe is located at 5544 Pico. And from what we've heard you can also bring your own wine without a corking fee.
Does anyone know what kind of plants are on the left with the long stalks and green/red leaves? They look like some kind of succulent.

Too bad the service/food at Bloom isn't up to par with their decor.

I've been quite happy with the food the few times I've been to Bloom. Breakfast has been excellent, and I'm addicted to the Caprese openface sandwich with olive tapenade. Yum! I had no idea they had an outdoor space, I'll definitely check it out.
