Like most people, we love drooling over designer interiors but oftentimes the design collection and sourcing is way out of our league financially. Our solution is normally to troll thrift stores and craigslist for finds, but it's always great when we see interesting interiors that are entirely from catalog and retail sources available to the public (like we saw earlier this week):
These images come from Jagwired's Flickr page and are a great example of taking items right out of the big box retailers and making them your own.

I loved last weeks' photos but this one of the desk in the office doesn't make me feel good. Too cold, too much metal (in feng shui white also connotes metal so I would not have used chrome accessories here).

Restoration Hardware has some of the most fantastic pieces that you cannot find in any other catalog. Although their items are expensive and really cant be craigslisted. But I have all the catalogs near my bed...hoping...dreaming...one day.
