Outdoor Inspiration: Delilah Bakery

Earlier this week we could be found grumbling about "June Gloom" but our spirits have taken a turn with the light rain that has fallen on Los Angeles today. The smell of rain mixed with the fact that the flowers and trees get a new shiny coat when it drizzles makes us very happy. A walk down our street just after the rainfall this afternoon reacquainted us with the patio at Delilah Bakery...

Wildflowers that seem to have taken on a life of their own make the small plots of land into Delilah's bakery quite impressive. Walking by, you can't help but notice the attention to detail to make every spot cozy and welcoming. An antiqued, white bench, a tiered wall of potted plants and tables and chairs painted our favorite robin's egg blue. The patterned brick underfoot also gives the entire outdoor area a nice texture against the colorful flowers. Delilah Bakery is the perfect spot to meet a friend for coffee and dessert!
