She goes on to say that everything "deserves its own little time in the spotlight - it just makes it that much more interesting to look at and to live in."

And it's no wonder that Peggy has an eye for arranging collections, her stationery line blue pool road is all about proportions and the balance of negative space with perfect type and shapes.

Images 1-3: A mixture of family heirlooms and thrift store finds, Peggy is a whiz at proportions using the floral painting to anchor everything else on the wall.

Image 4: Her incredibly organized magazines and periodicals are a far cry from the stacks we've got going on. By unifying her collections through a shared color palette (white, grey and wood) and using repetition of similar shapes instead of looking like chaos, her shelves look like a museum piece.

Image 5: We got a preview of this one in Peggy's House Call and still love how using all white frames can add order a nice collection of different art prints and memorabilia. You can use this same idea by buying thrift store frames and painting them the same color. It adds visual interest to the stairway without making it feel dark or cluttered.

Image 6: We love this image because in the background (behind her awesome hanger hanging poster) is a nice little collection of toilet paper and other odds and ends in the bathroom. We love that she's found a way to make toilet paper stylish and not just shoved under the cabinet or lined up along the back of the toilet.

Image 7: Peggy has this to say about her floor displays: "I love displaying frames on the floor, mainly because I change them up so often in my office that it's just the quickest and easiest way to do a makeover! From left to right: Hatch Show letterpress print, serigraph of Matisse's Blue Nudes III that I bought at the Tate Modern, a 1950's French advertisement from a thrift store, and a picture of my husband and I that I took of our shadows."
