Pretty Patterns in a Pretty Small Cabin

072209_skona1.jpgYou know that feeling you get after a hard night of partying ("Man, I really didn't need that shot of tequila" or "Oof, I can't believe I took down an In-N-Out burger animal style at 1 am..."), and all you want to do is lay in bed and pretend that you don't have a raging hangover? Well, that pretty much sums it up for me right now...except it's Wednesday morning and there's work to be done and meetings to attend. So if you happen to be in the same boat that I'm slowly sinking in, maybe these photos of a small, serene cabin decorated in a mix of pretty fabrics and patterns will help ease the pain a bit. Hey, you know it's bad when even bunk beds look appealing...

I spy with my little eye.. Ikea, Ikea, Ikea. Sorry, I couldn't resist poking a bit of fun at the room. BTW I happen to love Ikea and appreciate you posting this.

I love that radio on the book shelf. It reminds me of those 50's transistor radios. Do they make them any more?

What I love the most is the outside of the house.

Is that an Ikea book case too? Which one would that be? I'm looking for a similar bookcase, but I don't like the thick lines of a Lack or Expedit. I would also prefer a hardwood book case rather than particleboard.

Ok, it's a cute cabin, but if I had a hangover and the whirlies all that pattern and pink and red would be the LAST thing I would want to see.

The outside is adorable!!!
