Tampon Crafts

Now, we can almost hear the groans and pleas to stop this kind of potty humor, but we saw this over at Boing Boing and felt it our duty to post. With the statement that "Your period comes every month, but Xmas comes only once a year"... Tampon Crafts is devoted (?!) to ringing in the Christmas spirit with DIY decorations made from, yes that's right, tampons. From Christmas lights to menorahs, there is a project for everyone…and they are so easy even the kids can join in!

Hey! I did a "tamponbaum" about 8 years ago when my agency had the Tampax account! (and p.s. -- was the only guy on the account team.) -- I need to dig up that picture -- usually put it on my desk for the holidays.

You can also make very festive angels out of tampons. Poof out the bottom for a skirt, cut out a small picture of a face (I prefer to use my own) to glue up top, near the string, and then slap a pair of wings on the back. Adorn with a sprinkling of glitter and you've got a purty little angel to hang on your tree.

So, imagin me sitting by the tampon christmas tree and the need to change tampons at the moment, all I do is grab a tampon light or an angle and you know the rest.. lol

I made a tampon doll when I was a litttle girl and both my parents freaked out.
