Are you enjoying the longer hours of daylight? We are. Even if it just means being able to keep the curtains in our apartment open a little bit longer, we're feeling more energized for our home projects, more apt to do the necessary errands to get them done, instead of just coming home and curling up on the couch. This weekend, we hope to do some closet clearing and maybe some regrouting. What's on your agenda?

I'm clearing out what one was a guest room and has become a junk room.
It needs to be a guest room/den again.

I'm going to get some type of palm tree for my balcony and possibly a rug. I already ordered custom cushions for my chairs this week.
I'm also going to work on my closet and fill up a goodwill bag.
I want to get some new spring/ summer clothes and something needs to leave to make room!

i'm painting the door to my bathroom and have to put it back up by tomorrow, as i have company coming. i took the whole thing down to strip and sand the hinges painted over time after time over sixty years. but for the past week i've been loving the extra room and wishing i could get a pocket door.

Unfortunately, the extra time in the evening is completely messing with my mornings--I have to be in my classroom by six a.m., and this week has been brutal! It is nice to see the sunset at a later hour, though, and enjoy the illusion that the afternoon hours (read: non-kid hours) are lengthened.
And my closet project is almost done, too!

I moved a month ago and still haven't hung pictures! That is goal #1, followed by some gardening and planning an Easter menu (along with trying to figure out how to fit my entire family in my tiny apt!).

I plan to try and find more things I can throw away. Possibly shoes, possibly some electrical equipment.

the picture for this thread kind of looks like the evergreen tree is casting the shadow of a palm tree =P

The video is about grouting a floor, not RE-grouting a floor. I've already got grout in my bathroom but it's ugly and I want to replace it - is that possible? Will I pay as much to have someone remove and replace the grout as I would to have them install a new floor??

@marnie,
Regrouting is tedious work so it may be costly to hire someone to do that for you.
