The De La Tour Collection

082908_dela01.jpgIf you prefer the mid-century design aesthetic but not the price tag, the De La Tour collection at Urban Outfitters may be perfect for you and your home. Inspired by mid-century design, this grouping of chairs, coffee table and side table offers clean lines for your space.

NO!!! Not if you plan on even remotely using the items. There have been huge quality issues with all of the online pieces, customer service just laughs and arranges a free pickup--though pickup takes weeks.

Yes, they look nice though.

Personally, I don't have that much of a prob with repros, but I think these pieces look horrible.

I like the idea, but they're very ill-proportioned. The side table especially looks a little "off" to me. That, and UO is on my avoid list due to the company president's political affiliations.
On a side note, does anyone know where I can get non-Eames eiffel tower-esque chair base like that (just the base, not the chair)? Those of the Eames variety have uneven connections at the top, making it difficult to connect my own seat.
