After the work day's done, whether we work out of the house or in a corner of the living room, we've developed a little routine that transitions us out of "work head" and into home and relaxation mode. In a few short minutes, we take care of the mundane chores of living and prepare for the next day. We've now got it down to where it's become automatic. Create your own list by riffing off the one we posted after the jump...

My routine is generally the same. The first thing I do is change my clothes so my cat doesn't get my work clothes all hairy!

I love reading other people's rituals. :)
Here's how mine goes
1. Take off shoes in entrance and hang up bags and coat.

3. Do dishes husband left on counter, or wipe up remnants and spots from his 'cleaning' efforts.
4. Vacuum and hang up bath mat.
5. Straighten up couch and pillows.
6. Start thinking about what I'm going to make for supper.
