Rather than fill an upstairs room with tons of color, the designers of the tower residence kept the furnishings neutral, allowing the beautiful natural surroundings seen through the ample windows be the spotlight. We felt simliarly about the photo from a Moonridge, Los Angeles home we found on Flickr, where the simple interior takes a backseat to the good-looking backyard seen through floor to ceiling windows. While we love the idea of lots of color and have been thoroughly enjoying all the entries in this year's Room for Color contest, we can't help but appreciate the wisdom in keeping the decor simple when you've got a great view from a window.
