This week's LA Times House and Garden section's feature story goes south of the Border! They cover a home at Rancho Las Palmas, which is 20 minutes outside the resort town of San Migue de Allende, in Guanajuato, Mexico. It's owned by artist Michelle Connor, who refers to it as "a hunting lodge where's there's no hunting."...

The home was hand built, made of wood, adobe brick, stone and a palapa roof (made of hundreds of woven palm fronds.) The decor is eclectic and rustic, with lots of different design influences explained in the article. Check out the whole piece here, and don't forget to click on the slideshow.
