A new venture... As featured in an article by Janet Eastman in yesterdays LA Times H&G, the founder of Design Within Reach, Rob Forbes, has started a new blog called "Studio Forbes." Forbes has been writing the "Design Notes" newsletter that DWR sends out, but this past summer, formally left DWR "stating that he had accomplished all he had set out to do with the company."

According to the article, Forbes will still occasionally contribute to the DesignNotes newsletter, but in the meantime, will be blogging on the new blog about worldwide design, as well as food, wine, and culture. Check it out here.
