Skyfarm
LA Times 5.22.08

052208skyfarm.jpgToday's LA Times Home and Garden feature home has an interesting name, "Skyfarm". Located in Lincoln Heights, what was once described as "...a condemned structure" was transformed into a ""decompression chamber" -- a country escape in the heart of urban L.A." More pics after the jump...

052208skyfarm1.jpg052208skyfarm2.jpg052208skyfarm3.jpgThe home is owned by Ilse Ackerman and Meeno Peluce. The home is a colorful, artistic, and eclectic place, full of gardens, animals, and there's even bees! (the couple started beekeeping last month." We're loving the "nest" they created out of discarded eucalyptus branches they found. 052208skyfarm4.jpgRead their story here and see more pics here.
