Like any trend or fad, no matter how valid or lovely the item, the lamps seemed destined for “passé” status before most folk got them hung in their home.

However, we just saw these from Filipino artist Mayi Picazo (on Craig’s list of all places), and we cant stop looking at them. This is what these drop lamps should look like! According to the post, these 6 foot, 3 tier chandeliers are $220, use larger capiz shells than most, are topped with a Rosewood plate for the ceiling and come in a variety of colors.
