Alone Illuminating Coat Hook

110508alone01.jpgSuch a simple, but useful idea for the entryway: coat hook that is also a wall mounted LED light! Daniele Trebbi's Alone light is one of those products that get our mind racing in the hopes of finding an off the shelf DIY solution to similar effect (maybe those small push button LED closet lights?). In any case, thee Alone light/coat hook is rechargeable battery powered and lasts up to 60 hours of continuous use, thanks to an efficient LED bulb (a wired version is also available)...

Hey, and you can find your coat in the dark. I'd want it for a sort of hallway nightlight, though, so 60 hours probably wouldn't be enough.
