Crystal Banister Lamp

We were flipping through the Restoration Hardware catalog and couldn't stop staring at the Crystal Banister Table Lamp. It is shockingly expensive (almost $400) so it wont be going on our bedside table any time soon, but we love the shape and weight of the base. This is a lamp we will look at for inspiration and hope to find a good cheap version somewhere else, like the vintage shops, Great Indoors or Target.

These are a take on fixtures favored by Michael Taylor and his "California Look". I agree...they look really fresh again.

They're expensive because they're solid, cast glass which has probably been annealed...or treated in other ways to stay stable.

This lamp has been around since at least the 80s. A classic never dies.

I love this lamp, but agree it is too pricey for me. Lookng for a decent, lower cost imitation anywhere...
