Wow, it's not often you find affordable modern lighting outside of IKEA, CB2 and occasionally Target. But these flatpack polypropylene shades come seven pieces that can be customized to make one large light or two smaller ones...all for $43. Just remember to throw in a required compact fluorescent 15-Watt bulb or two.

You can actually refigure the Ikea ones, if you're so inclined, but I'm not that spatially intelligent. These look interesting.

And half the stuff on this blog is Made in China, including many beloved DWR pieces.
