Murano glass chandelier in Amber

Wow. When we saw this 18-arm graduated-tier La Murrina chandelier in the room photo, we got dizzy trying to rest our eyes. But once settled we could not stop looking at this stunning piece of art.

We would put it in a much cleaner setting, like over a long, sleek mahogany table in a stark, linen-walled dining room, perhaps. This needs to be given plenty of room, but that being said, the new amber color is… spectacular.

i first noticed this very chandelier hanging in the window of a lighting store on Melrose avenue between La Cienga and Fairfax in Hollywood, a few blocks from where i live. there is also a black one in the same window that is equally cool in a different way. the red one is so awesome looking in person, the photo doesn't do it justice. sometimes i find myself driving out of my way to the west just so i can see it on my way home.
