These are very nice! I bet you can make your own for a lot less though. The chain can be bought at the hardware store for a few dollars, the pendant light cord for about $10 and then splurge on the lamp shade if need be.

It's not cheap, but I replaced a hideous (cheap) chandelier in my dining room with a cool reproduction 50s fiberglass shade from Meteorlights in San Francisco. If you like that kind of thing, you can "design" your own on their interactive website.

Swag lamp kits are really inexpensive at the building store and a custom shade is super easy with an old shade, spray adhesive, and gift paper or fabric. Lotsa bang, little buck!
