Printed Paper Lanterns from PaperLights.com

Cheap, easy and beautiful... that pretty sums up what we think about these graphically delicious paper lanterns from PartyLights.com. Paper lanterns have normally been a mainstay of the college dorm room because of their affordability and ease of installation, but these printed paper lanterns would illuminate a variety of "grown up" interiors too, with a wide selection of prints, colours and shapes that goes beyond the futon and Top Ramen dinner demographic.

We could imagine these looking especially fun in multiples, hanging at different heights from the ceiling, perhaps even mixing and matching shapes. And at $8-9.50 a pop, it's not all that much of a design risk. Pop in a LED candle and you've got a lovely illumination solution for dining al fresco at night. Just be sure to match these with a proper electric kit and low watt bulb in the home, lest you end up with an unintentional paper lantern festival inside your home.
