"Torn Lights" by Billy May

061008torn1.jpgThis lighting concept from designer Billy May kind of reminds us of those scenes in the movies, where a wall is punched and then rays of light burst in, usually followed by a shadowy mysterious figure... Only this version is much more beautiful and achieved with less violence. These Torn Lights are "Fixtures intending to muddle the barrier between the room and its contents. The lights come from the room itself..."

 
 

061008torn2.jpgThe lights use LED lights to create the glow. You simply mount them and match the finish of your walls to them to give the appearance that the wall is "torn."
