Whyr'hymer Furniture sets out on fulfilling the goals of bringing unique hand crafted Craftsman-inspired home furnishings with a sense of responsibility of using certified, reclaimed or plantation grown hardwoods in all of their products. What caught our eyes specifically from their collection was the Bushel Series lights. Born out of a fated summer trip to the local hardware store where Morrison found inspiration in the common bushel basket, these organic and warm overhead lighting pieces re-imagine a rustic tool into something much more special. The undersides of these lamps almost look like sliced citrus fruit, don't they?

These are a departure from my own modern/mod furnishing preferences in regards to the space I currently live in. But if I was living in a Craftsman era home, filled with rich woodwork, I think these overhead light fixtures would be a downright beautiful addition. They've got a unique handcrafted, artisan quality which is nice to see in a world of mass produced MDF/plastic products.
