We love a good lamp and Zia-Priven Design has quite a few. While based out of New York, they are in the process of finding LA stores to carry their merchandise and have a great website as well. The owners are super-sweet and helpful, so getting some of these pretty pieces into your home should not be a problem.
What struck us as LA fabulous were the lamps in the Wallpaper collection, which feel part 60's mod/part English aristocrat. The table lamps run around $395.00, and the pendants range from $295.00-$395.00. We also got a kick out of the Hermes Table Lamp ($565.00), which the company calls "Hollywood Regency at its best". These styles might be a little over the top for some, but if you cant get enough "wow!" in your space, check them out.

Though a little late on the comment, I wanted to thank you for the very kind post! It was a pleasure meeting you at the LA AT party and am so excited that our home town gets to taste the wonders of this great blog. We know it will be a great success!
The Wallpaper line is doing quite well and has been so much fun to work with these fantastic trade only papers. We did locate a store that is perfect for us, called DaVinci, coincidentally, right across the street on 3rd from OK, the great shop where the party was!
And ya, we are a little over the top, but hey, we were born and raised in LA, it comes with the territory!
